Billions in Change

The world is facing some huge problems. There’s a lot of talk about how to solve them. But talk doesn’t reduce pollution, or grow food, or heal the sick. That takes doing. This film is the story about a group of doers, the elegantly simple inventions they have made to change the lives of billions of people, and the unconventional billionaire spearheading the project.

As one of the commenters on youtube said, it kind of makes you wonder what the hell all the other billionaires are doing with their time.

Who Benefits From GM Crops?

Short answer, big agriculture, big business and little Bill. Bill Gates along with Monsanto are using their US government to force GM crops on Africa, says a report by FoE International. Small farmers will suffer, even more than they are under the current alleged aid and development projects.

In their press release, FoE says:

“South African farmers have more than 16 years’ experience cultivating GM maize, soya and cotton, but the promise that GM crops would address food security has not been fulfilled. Indeed, South Africa’s food security is reportedly declining with almost half the nation currently categorised as food insecure even though South Africa exports maize,” said Haidee Swanby from the African Centre for Biosafety.

“The South African experience confirms that GM crops can only bring financial benefits for a small number of well-resourced farmers. The vast majority of African farmers are small farmers who cannot afford to adopt expensive crops which need polluting inputs such as synthetic fertilisers and chemicals to perform effectively,” she added.
[strange usage of “effectively” there, maybe she knows what they’re really for!]

…According to the final declaration of the Forum for Food Sovereignty, …”Food sovereignty is the right of peoples to healthy and culturally appropriate food produced through ecologically sound and sustainable methods, and their right to define their own food and agriculture systems. It puts those who produce, distribute and consume food at the heart of food systems and policies rather than the demands of markets and corporations.”

Amnesty International Try to Overthrow Eritrea Government.

The government and people of Eritrea refuse to play the role of victim that Western governments and aid corporations want them to. Eritrea is refusing “aid” with all its strings, and attempting to build self-reliance. It’s not going along with the bankers’ plans. (See 21 Years And Counting: Eritrea’s Independent Path Towards Sustainable Development, Peace & Cooperation for more on this). You may think that the role of organizations like Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch is philanthropy, or campaigning to improve people’s lives. Getting money from corrupt governments to do their dirty work isn’t something many people think should be on their agendas, but that’s what happens.

Strong evidence is now emerging that these two organizations have been trying to destabilize Eritrea. See
Amnesty International to Instigate Regime Change in Eritrea for more, and follow the links at the end for some background.

William Engdahl has published an in-depth article about the Rockerfellers’ agribusiness revolution and the devastating impact it has had on our health, our food and the lives of farmers worldwide. Read it at journal-neo.org.

Here’s an interview he did for Red Ice Radio (doesn’t cover everything in the article):

UPDATE 16 October: WWF has responded angrily to Survival’s campaign. Read the facts behind the headlines.

Survival International, the global movement for tribal peoples’ rights, has uncovered serious abuses of Baka “Pygmies” in southeast Cameroon, at the hands of anti-poaching squads supported and funded by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF).

The Baka are being illegally forced from their ancestral homelands in the name of “conservation” because much of their land has been turned into “protected areas” – including safari-hunting zones.

Rather than target the powerful individuals behind organized poaching, wildlife officers and soldiers pursue Baka who hunt only to feed their families.

Watch Baka recount the abuse they suffer at the hands of anti-poaching squads supported by WWF:

WWF shares culpability for mass killing of orangutans

TOrangutan presshe WWF raises money across the globe to save the orangutan. The organization does, in fact, act to preserve existing national parks that are home to the likeable, funny-faced apes. But at the same time, the WWF – a strong proponent of plant-based energy production worldwide – is aiding its agribusiness partners in annihilating much larger areas of rainforest in the name of sustainability.

A years’-long globe-spanning investigative journey took journalist and filmmaker Wilfried Huismann to the Indonesian part of Borneo. There he discovered that in Central Kalimantan alone the company Wilmar International, one of the world’s biggest palm oil players, had already cleared almost 200,000 hectares of rainforest using ruthless slash-and-burn methods. In 2007 the WWF concluded a “Memorandum of Understanding” with Wilmar, pledging support for the company’s Central Kalimantan palm oil operations, which the WWF deems “sustainable”. (more…)

Kenya’s Catholic bishops are charging two United Nations organizations with sterilizing millions of girls and women under cover of an anti-tetanus inoculation program sponsored by the Kenyan government.

According to a statement released Tuesday by the Kenya Catholic Doctors Association, the organization has found an antigen that causes miscarriages in a vaccine being administered to 2.3 million girls and women by the World Health Organization and UNICEF. Priests throughout Kenya reportedly are advising their congregations to refuse the vaccine.

And an article from greenmed.info goes deeper, examines how mainstream media are largely ignoring it while the few who are not are generally dismissing it as nonsense (without any evidence to back up the claim) and then looks into the long and scandalous historical background  of vaccine experiments on humans in places like Africa.

A naturalnews.com article “Tetanus vaccines found spiked with sterilization chemical to carry out race-based genocide against Africans” covers the same story but gives some background on the “vaccines as weapons” aspect. New Book Blows the Whistle on WWF

The World Wide Fund for Nature has been the subject of much controversy since its inception. Now a new English translation of a book by German author Wilfried Huismann, PandaLeaks – The Dark Side of the WWF, presents two years of on-the-ground investigative research, exposing their unethical and hypocritical tactics to a much greater depth than before. The book has been published in spite of a massive campaign of threats and a series of lawsuits from its subject.

The book accuses WWF of cosying up to the very corporations it should be challenging, such as Monsanto, Coca-Cola, Shell, HSBC, Cargill, BP, Alcoa and Maine Harvest. The Author says that “WWF is a willing service provider to the giants of the food and energy sectors, supplying industry with a green, progressive image… On the one hand it protects the forest; on the other it helps corporations lay claim to land not previously in their grasp. WWF helps sell the idea of voluntary resettlement to indigenous peoples,”
